ok... this s really smethng yoongying forced me to write...
to all o you who doesnt knw, her b'day is on d 6th o sept and she wants to knw wht her present is NOW.
isnt tht too much to ask for?? therefore im givin her a hint every mth till then...

hint 1: smethng tht cn move. both boys and girls cn use it, but dont necessarily need it.

referin to my last post in our class blog...
i couldnt make it.

nt to say i didnt try.
i did, and i cn tell you truthfully tht i worked really hard.
but even if i improved lots, i still couldnt play.
sr3's arent allowed to play in d interzone, and coach wouldnt even consider me for d ba du zhong.

looks like my vlb life ended last interzone, when they were desperate enough to let me play.

nvr again would i hav d chance to prove my worth in d court.
nvr again would i represent my sch in vlb.

but no regrets.
i made all my decisions believin they were d best for me,
and im glad tht i made d decision to improv this yr.

i did.

new haircut

i cn tell you,
this is d worst i've ever had.
serious.
it's even worse than d long hair turned short one.

let me try to describe d hideous creation.
it's short, way shorter than (my) normal stds.
it doesnt compliment my face at all. (it actually makes my face look rounder, if tht's possible)
*for those who knws tammy, it kinda looks like tht... only it looks much better on her than on me.

i'd post a photo as soon as my bro finds d camera.
you ppl seriously need a warnin before you see me.
cuz even my family went, Oh. My. Gosh. WHT DID D LADY DO TO YOUR HAIR.

finals o speech com

d final round o d speech com... is finally over!
no more worryin abt unfinished HW while practicin^^!

wern was right.
it WAS an experience o a lifetime.
writin (and editin) my speech, memorisin and learnin to improvise on it, and finally presentin it...
i had so much fun!

im glad tht i chose to write my speech.
if i had taken it fr a bk or fr d net, it wouldnt b MY SPEECH.
i would just b memorisin lines.
"Givin up or lettin go?" is wholly mine...
well, d main idea was.
wern gave me a lot o suggestions tht i just had to put in.

thx lots to suetmun, phue sin, le yun, yoo sun, tammy and my roommates
for listenin to my naggins. (wht if i...? wht if i...? ahh, it's nxt week!! etc)

also thx to aaron, yeosin, nasha, suet yen, hansol, ming wai and my vlb jrs
who gav me d encouragemnt to walk up d stage.
walkin up d stage and talkin to 1800 ppl takes quite a lot o nerve.

but d greatest thx goes to wern yi...
who nvr stopped believin in me.
right fr d start she told me to reach for d stars (or in my case, just d moon), and to hav fun.
who also burnt d midnite oil to read thru my script to pt out my flaws.

my first time singin solo in public and my first speech on stage...
was a success!
in my eyes, of course.
i did nt regret any part o it.
even d part where i was constantly teased abt singin d nursery rhyme.
or d part where d whole sch heard my voice shake.

no regrets at all.
