birthdays

Some dates you just can’t remember. Like when one last paid the milkman.
Some dates you just can’t forget. Like Christmas and April fool's.
Some dates just happened.

Remembering an old friend’s birthday is a hard task without a diary. The only time we made contact was when our paths crossed on facebook. Which, when having more than 400 ‘friends’, is more of luck than coincidence.

For this friend however, it’s a “happened” date. Contrary to my dad’s opinion of celebrating “everyone’s” birthday as a form of frivolity of youngsters, every year I send a greeting, more like a reflex action than something I struggle to remember.
And hold my breath till I get the reply: “OMG YOU REMEMBERED. Thanks Sarah! Nice to hear from an old friend :-D”. It’s a way of making sure we still remember each other.

building con

finding a nice skin for my blog is going on my holiday to-do list.
and when hols finally come i'd probably forget all about it =.="

spent today listening to half-hearted discussions bout my building construction assignment.
w 10 ppl in d group, things are hard to manage.
esp when class was cancelled thus we met in my house. sofa and warm lighting and all.

handed in my last piece o hw (10 sketches) this afternoon.
it was a total FAILURE.
i did not try at all.
but i didn't care, i just want to END IT.

ok, so maybe i'm p***ed off about this project.
i don't understand why there was only one member present at 11am for the 9am meeting
or how some people could go off/ didn’t appear at all when the only girl in the group worked on the model till 1am (yes i'm biased about the girl/boy thing, so what?)
or letting 2 people who was buried under hw spend one saturday fixing the model for photo-shooting

a very LATE post abt redang..

gosh was i stiff after d midnight bus ride..
